Jonah Duyvelaar

In this role I am primarily a front end loader who performs regulatory and maintenance tasks at the front of the store during regular hours. Additionally, I am tasked with having knowledge in other areas and departments, such as cashiering, as I am asked at times to adapt my role and switch between parts of the store based on traffic or needs.

In this role I worked with a team of about ten other interns to learn and manage certain facets of church services on a daily basis. From organizing events to helping smoothly streamline Sunday services, this internship gave me an outpouring of knowledge and demanded flexibility in my understanding and performance.

As a camp counselor, I cared for and led a group of 10-12 fifth grade boys daily for a week, walking alongside them through games and growth based activities. I also collaborated and built relationships with other counselors. This experience really grew me in patience and listening.
