Organized conferences to discuss UNOTI’s analysis of the evacuation plans for functional needs and carless populations with several regions throughout the United States. Analyzed and mapped post-Katrina New Orleans area pedestrian and bicycle crash data in order to increase awareness and improve safety for a publically distributed report that was also delivered to the Regional Planning Commission. Developed and implemented GIS protocols for a geospatial analysis of demographic, land use, and transportation system characteristics for areas around bicycle facilities in Minneapolis. Created a typology of TODs using over 40 variables in order to analyze over 4,000 U.S. rail, ferry, and bus rapid transit stations to in part look at their surrounding development pattern and also their development potential.
