During high school Jon worked a job at the popular quick service restaurant Chick-Fil-A. He juggled playing varsity tennis, Serving as the captain of the diving team, keeping his grades up and working for almost 2 years. He quit working to focus on school and athletics. He spent his summers mowing lawns for extra money and volunteering at Young Life’s Crooked Creek Ranch and Frontier ranch. Jon hopes to graduate his schooling from Colorado State University with a major in Natural Recourse and Tourism and a minor in Business. With this degree he hopes to work on property staff at any of the Young Life properties, or on field staff with Young Life. Jon plans to graduate in 2018. He is planning on taking an extra year so he is able to study abroad. He plans to volunteer at Young Life’s Frontier ranch summer after his freshman year and plans to have an internship the rest of his college summers.
