Johnny Thompson

Current MSc Bioscience Innovation and Enterprise student at UCL and Business Analyst at ViaNautis, a Cambridge-based biotech developing a novel genetic drug delivery platform. My role spans market and competitive analysis to inform commercial strategy for next‑generation cell and gene therapies. Previously, I was Business Development Manager at Neuro-Bio, a biotech developing first-in-class therapeutics and diagnostics for Alzheimer’s disease, where I supported business development, commercial analysis and corporate strategy to drive company growth. Before Neuro-Bio, I worked as a Business Analyst Intern at Ferghana Partners, a specialist life sciences investment bank, supporting senior management on strategic transaction advisory, including corporate partnering, M&A and private equity placements. I hold a BSc in Neuroscience from the University of Exeter (high 2:1) and completed a research project investigating the role of epigenetics in Alzheimer’s disease.
