I wear a lot of hats—sometimes all at once. As a Professor of Entrepreneurial Practice at Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management, I’ve spent over 15 years teaching, mentoring, and coaching entrepreneurs—whether they’re launching their first venture or scaling their next big idea. I also serve as Deputy Department Chair and Program Manager for the MS in Entrepreneurship (on campus and online), shaping curriculum, supporting faculty, and helping students turn big ideas into real businesses. I found academia late in my career and am very grateful that I get to work with the best students and amazing colleagues every day. Beyond academia, I’m an entrepreneur, investor, and board member with a deep passion for helping businesses grow. I founded, co-founded, and led several companies dedicated to providing early childhood special education and therapy services, such as InterActive Therapy Group, Liberty POST, Connections Family Centered Therapies, and Sprout Therapy Management.. Scaling a business in the healthcare space has taught me a lot about leadership, innovation, and navigating challenges—lessons I bring into the classroom and to the entrepreneurs I mentor. I’m also an active investor, backing startups that align with my passion for wellness, education, and social impact. Whether it's advising founders, providing capital, or making strategic introductions, I love being in the mix of early-stage innovation. On the public speaking side, I’ve had the privilege of delivering keynotes, TEDx talks, and workshops on entrepreneurship, resilience, and leadership. I frequently speak at industry conferences, corporate retreats, and YPO events, helping high-performing entrepreneurs and executives build sustainable success—without burning out. I also serve on several boards and advisory groups, lending my expertise in entrepreneurship, education, and business strategy. Whether in the boardroom, classroom, or on stage, my mission is the same: to help people and businesses thrive.
