My practice focuses on intellectual property counseling and licensing, and drafting and negotiating strategic commercial contracts, including a substantial focus on open source software issues. I also have expertise in a variety of M&A and financing transactions. I represent both public and private companies through all stages of growth, with an emphasis on start-ups and growth companies developing emerging technologies in the software, Internet, media, cloud computing, social networking, and advertising industries. In addition to my active practice, I also contribute as a guest lecturer to an Intellctual Property Licensing course at U.C. Hastings.
