A holder of an MSc in Event Management from Leeds Beckett University, a diploma from Harvard Business School in the Business of Entertainment, Music, and Sports, and a Digital Strategy & Marketing Diploma from MIT Sloan / Columbia Business School. I have both a theoretical and operational background in the Events industry. Previously as the Regional Production Director of Blink Experience, I was in charge of the complete management and operation of all events across the region. Having worked in the Olympics & other major events for more than 20+ years, my experience allows me to be versatile in any Producer / Production Role. I have consulted for OCOG's in Torch Relay Operations, Celebrations and Medal Ceremonies. My main daily tasks focus on developing new business and managing the complete event process cycle from A-Z. Furthermore, I develop the departments' annual expansion strategy and manage all of the client portfolios for the Events section. One of my main skills is Show Calling, and I have been an active show caller with over 15+ years of experience in running shows. My day-to-day operation focus on the complete event management proposal from supervising the conceptual design to event delivery including presenting the proposals to potential clients. I actively oversee the renderings and creative aspects of each project while making sure that the deliverables, budgets and operational plans are met in a timely manner and according to specs. My event background comes from Sporting Events, Torch Relays, Concerts, and Live Events. Musical Production Management, with vast experience in Touring, Concert Production & Development, Large Scale Events Consultation and Design. Specializing in Fireworks, Pyrotechnics, and Special Effects Design, with clients in 5 continents. Specialties include: Event Design, Event Management, Production Management, Show Concept & Design, Special Effects, and Fireworks Design. During my downtime, I compete on the Canadian National Shooting Team in the discipline of Air Pistol 10mm and I teach Event Management & Technical Operations at the Event Management Development Institute in Dubai, UAE.
