For over 20 years I have provided leadership in warehouse and logistics operations for a variety of businesses and industries including e-commerce, import and export operations. My common sense and logical approach to business management has ensured that I look to optimise operational processes within the warehouse to deliver extensive improvements across productivity, systems and capacity. In each of my positions I have been able to demonstrate this through the facilitation of business reviews and operational audits from the early stages of appointment. I work closely and effectively with business leaders to align to the operational processes to the strategic goals and use this to assess workforce planning requirements and warehouse capacity needs. Led the stock replenishment activities at all locations to meet specific business outcomes and goals. • Provided leadership to a diverse logistics and warehouse team. Provided mentoring and coaching whilst ensuring adherence to strict business policies and processes. • Established and implemented OH&S policies and procedures in guidance with leading industry regulations and specifications. • Led a negotiation of all existing freight and transport contracts to achieve substantial cost down requirements. Saw this deliver a reduction of all costs of 20% to the business. • Provided a detailed analysis of business costs including the ongoing promotion of “free accessories”. Reported on the actual ROI of such activities and provided more strategic recommendations. • Project managed a large-scale warehouse improvement project that included the sourcing of new racking, to be implemented in stages. Reduced the requirement of personnel by 1 full time staff member. • Consulted with 3rd party software provider on the prospective implementation of a company wide ERP system. Assessed marketplace suitability against business needs for a variety of market tools. • Set up a replenishment timetable for all stores to place and receive their store orders. Saw this improve business engagement and the ability to service customer needs. Picking errors were reduced to .01%.

This included leading the freight flow team in receiving and recording stock. • Conducted a daily inventory replenishment program to ensure that all stores and department areas remained completely serviceable to customers. • Oversaw the fill team during night hours to ensure that all stock items for accurately replenished. Assisted in stock count audits and price changes within the store environment. • Assisted with fit out and mass fill prior to store opening. Worked in the store during a period of extreme volatility whilst supporting the ability to meet project plans and opening schedules. • Liaised directly with the major distribution centre to plan and schedule inventory deliveries and stock replenishment requirements.

Saw this deliver an extreme cost down to the operational overheads of the business. • Re-designed the existing warehouse of 3000sq mtrs. This resulted in the delivery of a cost reduction of 4 staff and improved productivity. • Maintained budgeted Capex and Expenditure at $200,000.00. Provided management with up to date reporting and analysis of the budget to actual spend. • Delivered substantial improvements on procedures to achieve a picking variance of .03% annually. • Implemented a freight distribution network to the whole country between variance freight forwarders and gaining a 25% reduction in the freight cost. • Representing Brewers at meetings with new and existing customers to ensure timely supply of goods whilst consulting on returns policies and other queries. • delivered a reduction of 23% saving on the overall transport budget annually. Negotiated the contract to be fixed for 24 months with no increase. • Reviewed all supplier relationships resulting in an annual savings of $480k. • Operated as the Account Manager for Masters Home Improvements, setting up new stores with product, staff training, and service. • Appointed as the Acting GM for a period of 5 months in late 2011.

Liaised with the CFO to determine ongoing requirements then assessed suitable of prospective service providers. • Achieved the Call Centre GOS of 80/20 on a monthly basis and maintaining the GOS at 89% consistently. Met this through improved processes and transparency in business activities. • Re-designed the existing warehouse of 900sq mtrs delivering an extra 250 pallet spaces and 2000 picking slots. This resulted in achieving a cost reduction of 3 staff and improved productivity. • Delivered improved stocktake variances down to .03% of stock value annually; approximately 3500 sku’s. Addressed overall pick and pack processes to minimise shrinkage and stock write off. • Established a freight distribution network to the whole country including variance freight forwarders. Saw this initiative deliver a 30% reduction in overall freight costs.
