Maintain proper reformer conditions, steam-to-carbon ratios, system reliability, controlling reaction severity, hydrogen consumption, and conversion rates. Monitor and control binary and multi-component distillation columns, reflux ratios, tower pressures, and cut-point specifications. Control and optimize process variables (pressure, temperature, flow rates, hydrogen partial pressure) using Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and field instrumentation. Execute unit start-ups, shutdowns, and emergency procedures in accordance with refinery operating standards and safety protocol. Perform routine field rounds, equipment inspections, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve operational issues before impacting production. Maintain compliance with Process Safety Management standards, environmental regulations, and refinery procedures.
