Hiring me would bring a perspective from an industry that is very different from most developers and combine it with the desire, perseverance, and sheer will to learn more than what I know now about developing. An example of this was my first programming class, I’d never truly coded before that time and was still able to stand out among the more talented individuals in my class simply because I was not satisfied until I was happy with how the user end of my programming looked and operated. While most folks cranked out any code that would complete the task, I re-wrote, and re-wrote until I could run my program, pretend like I’d never seen anything like it before, and not become lost or confused. I feel that sort of mentality is of the utmost importance when it comes to writing programs: end-user ease and customer satisfaction adoration.
