President of Employee Safety Council, member Bioterrorism Response Team and HAZMAT Response Team. Performed Industrial Hygiene sampling & reporting. Co-developed divisional Environmental/Safety Business Plan and Delta Technical Operations Workplace Hazard Assessment. Developed and implemented physical security plans based on TSA requirements. Liaison to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies for bomb threat response training (LEO and K-9 LEO)

* Responsible for EHS compliance for 1.6 million square foot facility with 800 * employees. Designed and directed three year, 53% reduction in OSHA Recordable injury rate, 39% reduction in DART rate, and negotiated 20 * reduction in direct and ancillary medical care costs per service. Negotiated zero dollar settlement to six outstanding EPA issues existing prior to my arrival.

Developed and implemented OSHA safety programs for 1.2 million square foot indoor/outdoor scrap metal recycling facility with 300+ primarily non-English speaking employees. Primary challenges included machine guarding, working at heights, extreme thermal stress, respirable silica & combustible dust, asbestos, and intersecting multi-modal transportation safety including heavy rail.
