Finance Executive with global experience gained in positions with major US multinational companies (financial services; logistics/supply chain management) and an early-stage SaaS (Software as a Service) company. In 2007 I decided to become an Angel Investor with a focus on investments in Tanzania, East Africa (residential mortgage financing, mineral industry extractive/processing, construction/logistics, renewable energy, rural electrification, and agro-processing). In addition to making Angel investments, I took a direct hands-on role in establishing and managing the various companies by serving as Chairman of the Board and generally as either CEO or CFO. In early 2021 I began migrating operational control to local staff. I presently serve as a mentor to local executives and play a strategic resource support role.
