ICLOAK.org is a startup company selling a bootable USB device that uses the Tor network to provide anonymous Internet access. At ICLOAK I was the sole developer of the One Ring password manager, running on Windows, Mac and Linux. The application has two components, a JavaScript extension for the Tor browser and a back end written in Python 2. The extension monitors password inputs on login, registration and change password pages, and supports password generation of either a standard complex password or an easy to remember “XKCD” password. One Ring implements the TOTP algorithm for 2-factor authentication. If the shared secret is stored on the USB device along with the password, One Ring can calculate the one time code, eliminating the need to manually copy it from a text message or authenticator phone app. I automated the testing of the login and change password pages for the hundred most popular web sites by creating a test application in Python that uses Selenium to control Firefox and pywinauto to control One Ring.

One of three developers of the iDWare product line for biometric security for Windows and the Web. I developed the Windows service and client applications, written in C# using HTTP, sockets, LINQ, XML, Active Directory, MMC, WinForms and WPF. I also wrote browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox and IE.
