Keep abreast of changing trends in technology to include hardware, networks and network tools, software, and systems. Negotiate cost-effective contracts for the purchase of new systems, hardware, software, or peripherals. Negotiate cost-effective contracts for service warranties, maintenance programs, or IT consultants to support the credit union’s technology infrastructure. Develop, update, monitor and continuously ensure compliance with the disaster recovery plans, computer security and loss prevention plans, antivirus and firewall protections, etc. Hire, manage, and direct IT staff. Install, diagnose and repair hardware for 500+ systems within the company, as well as establishing and troubleshooting network connection daily. Operate as primary contact for CU Online (Online Banking) technical support to resolve issues such as connection issues, internet browser problems and firewall troubleshooting for both members and employees. Research and manage service contracts for pricing, performance and support for company hardware and software.
