Producing beef, lamb and grain for the wholesale market and producing and marketing of free range egg's to market's and shop's. Also producing and marketing of homemade butter and buttermilk for supply to market's and shop's. From Oct 2004 to July 2013 produced and sold all our beef, lamb, free range egg's, homemade butter& buttermilk directly to customer's at five farmer's market's every week. From July 2013 we concentrated supplying shops & supermarkets with free range eggs and homemade butter doubling our sales up to Dec 2015.

Involved in all area's of the dairy farm, milking and parlour maintenance which involved maintaining and washing of milking equipment. Organising staff work rota in the parlour and for the whole farm when herdsman was on holiday. Another area was feeding and mixing of all rations for all dairy and young stock on the farm. Taking in and unloading of feed ration's and storing each in it's own bay and recording paper work involved. Breeding which involved AI and calving's, organising cow's and any other stock for vet check's and recording everything involved. AI course completed in October 1986. I was one of a team who flew to Jeddah to unload in-calf heifer's from America from a ship into lorry's which were heading to different farm's. All above was done while working with farm management and other farm staff.

Responsible for the daily milking of 180 cow's in a one operator rotary parlour and maintaining the high standard milk quality and production. Recording and removal of cow's for AI and hoof care when needed. Maintaining and feeding of stock bull's. Weekly cleaning of water trough's
