As president and CEO of Moody Development Corporation, John worked with different organizations requiring computer software and electrical design related services including development of advanced automated lumber processing systems (ALPS) for use in industrial production environments, work flow planning and reporting system for various industries including gun stock manufacture and greeting card assembly and National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) reporting package utilized to report results of laboratory analysis of water samples associated with coal mining permit requirements

As CIO, John was charged with the overall operational responsibilities for 60 F.T.E.s in three corporations including two non profit hospitals and a for profit counterpart. Responsible for all aspects of information services including project planning, negotiating, budgeting, and implementation of projects along with mid/long term strategic planning. Other responsibilities include administrative duties for multiple departments including Admissions, Medical Records, Telecommunications and various clinical departments.

As an engineering scientist, John was responsible for the overall programming and electrical/computer engineering for multiple corporation grant based project associated with non-destructive testing of bridge structures using long range laser vibrometer sensing. Investigated advanced signal processing alternatives for modal vibration analysis. John's Accomplishments include: Successful development/implementation of algorithms for modal analysis of bridge vibration including structural flaw detection with positional information. Demonstration of algorithms/basic vibrational signal processing as key note speaker at international conference on concrete structures, Indian Concrete Institute, Roorkee, India, December 17, 1997.
