Facility Operations Consultant (Startup Operations Cedilla, Rheos, and Casma Therapeutics) Scope of responsibilities includes all Facilities Management functions, space planning, laboratory design and buildout, office design and buildout, facility environmental contracts, facility request services, maintenance, receiving functions, and tenant landlord communications. • Developed process for receiving, shipping, ticket system requests. • Operated and maintained employee badge system and security schedule. • Contracted all mechanical and electrical work of lab and office areas. • On-site support for weekend work, building shutdowns, and emergency weather events. • Coordinated all construction events for three companies sharing space with minimal impact to office hours. • Contracted and managed office furniture upgrades to accommodate growth. • Performed receiving, procurement, and invoice tracking with Bioprocure.

-Monitored lab and building environment conditions both on site and remotely using cloud based BMS and Security programs. -Designed and built out over 120,000 sq ft office space to accommodate rapid company growth with room for expansion at two separate locations. -Planned and managed entire clinical lab process move and systems validation with no downtime in production. -Designed and built out 40,000 sq ft of CAP/CLIA regulated lab space, including an 8,000 sq ft FDA lab to run our F1 product in a monitored regulated environment. -Manage all building related maintenance and service calls -Negotiate and maintain all service agreements for essential systems including; RODI plant, BPE waste water treatment system, RTU (back up lab air), Spencer elevated pressure gas booster, Cummins 450KW generator, Server room and Walk-in cold storage units. -Implemented and manage stockroom consumables and reagent inventory system (Intellitrack) -Purchase all lab use consumables and select critical reagents. -Negotiate bulk order pricing, reserve lots, shipping schedules, and product agreements. -Negotiate pricing for bulk benchtop and large lab equipment purchases. -Implementation and management of wireless cold storage monitoring system. This includes system expansion, alarm monitoring, and remote monitoring for off hours coverage. -Monitor and dispatch technicians for facility requests. Track and update internal employee request ticket system. -Developed and manage Block Return process. Training and educating team members on process use. Ensure all daily reports are returned along with slide or block samples for customers domestic and international. Process urgent patient sample return with same day service. -Implement and maintain service agreements and scheduled maintenance calls for all clinical lab equipment.

I performed all quality control tests on Kalwall and Kal-lite materials including light transmission, pressure testing, burn time ratios, durability and impact. I kept continuous records of all tests and journal of material quality, and performed safety inspections of warehouse machinery and forklifts.

-Building Maintenance; painting, drywall repair, ceiling tile replacement, minor mechanical and electrical work. -Respond and complete facility ticket requests. -Place service calls and escort vendors for preventative maintenance calls. -Package receipt and delivery to lab and office personnel. -Collect and enter all signed packing slips against requisitions in accounting software (Great Plains) -Purchase lab and IT equipment -Maintain lab consumable supply inventory.
