ASN was the market leader in the manufacture and supply of intercontinental telecommunication systems. Throughout 2000 and the first half of 2001 the company experienced significant growth. This was followed by declining demand and the bankruptcy or restructuring of several major customers. Successfully managed the recovery of a large percentage of debts of hundreds of millions of dollars for ASN. Also handled acquisitions and divestitures, major disputes and arbitrations, project finance and difficult construction and supply contracts.

Managed legal services for Alcatel in the Netherlands, UK, Russia, Japan, Israel and the Nordic countries. Handled contracts and financing arrangements for major telecommunication projects.Oversaw work of the international attorneys in the department and handled compliance matters including anti-corruption and export control matters.

International contracts and development of joint venture in Serbia.

International commercial contracts, national and international arbitration and dispute resolution.

Handled international, commercial and corporate matters as well as cross-border disputes.

Handled the company's Securities and Exchange Commission filings and ensured compliance with securities laws and regulations. Also involved in anti-corruption and export control compliance matters.

While working as in-house counsel Mr Lowe was very active in the Association of Corporate Counsel Europe serving on the board of directors for five years from 2010 until 2015. He was Treasurer for two years and President for one year. The ACC Europe has other two thousand members and organizes events throughout Europe including an annual conference which is usually held in May of each year.

Qioptiq was a division of Thales specialising in photonic products and solutions that was sold to a private equity group at the end of 2005. It acquired two major companies before it was, in turn, sold to Excelitas Technologies at the end of October 2013. Served on the company's executive committee and as corporate secretary.

Independent arbitrator, mediator and legal and compliance advisor based in Paris, France and New York, New York. Mr Lowe has begun his activities as an arbitrator following many years of work as General Counsel in international companies based in Europe but active throughout the world. He is currently on the arbitrator rosters of leading dispute resolution institutions in several countries including ICDR, WIPO and others. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, International Arbitration Institute, London Court for International Arbitration, Associazione Italiana per l'Arbitrato and Association Francaise de Arbitrage. He is also a trained mediator. Mr Lowe is a guest lecturer on alternative dispute resolution at l'Universita' di Roma, La Sapienza.
