Responsible for instructing high school students in ACT, SAT, and PSAT test content and strategies using Huntington Learning Centers' curriculum for English, writing and language, and reading. Provide subject content instruction to select students as assigned. Apply “connect before content” relationship strategies to help foster positive tutor-student interactions. Adapt content and instructional style to fit individual students' learning styles and current academic levels. Record daily reports on students tutoring session progress and provide instant feedback to students as they complete session exercises and practice passages.
