John Keppler

I am a physicist with a passion for complex systems – whether in space, within the human body, or in the creative arts. My academic background includes a strong specialization in astronomy & astrophysics, complemented by applied research in aerospace medicine and human biomechanics. I completed my Master’s degree in Physics with a thesis on simulating voluntary head movements under extreme acceleration using a muscle-skeleton model of the cervical spine, based on multi-body system dynamics – in collaboration with the Air Force Center of Aerospace Medicine. During my Bachelor's studies, I specialized in astronomy and performed detailed spectral analysis of a black hole X-ray binary system. My thesis focused on the source 4U 1630–47, using data from the Insight-HXMT space telescope. Alongside my academic path, I have gained valuable professional experience in both scientific and educational roles: ● At Biomotion Solutions, I worked on artificial intelligence, multi-body simulation, and human model data analysis. ● As a lecturer at Reutlingen University, I taught physics to engineering students. ● At the University of Tübingen, I supervised physics lab courses and helped design practical teaching content. In 2020, I also founded Indiebasement, a music label and creative platform that unites my interest in audio production, media design, and project coordination. This has given me hands-on experience in media marketing, music distribution, and creative entrepreneurship. I bring a high level of analytical thinking, adaptability, and interdisciplinary curiosity to every project I take on – whether in research, teaching, or creative work.
