Was right hand (and left hand) man for the Anesthesilogists. Ran cell savers and Sono Site ultra sound machines. Placed IV's. Assisted with invasive line placement. Worked many areas where Anesthesia Services where needed, throughout the hospital. BLS, PALS and ACLS certified.

Was assigned to General and Open Heart Surgery technical support staff. Assisted the Anesthesiologist with invasive line placement, ran cell savers and various other Anesthesia equipment. Plus worked in other Anesthesia related areas.

Operated several heavy machines in a steel fabricating business. We fabricated structural steel for large buildings and bridges. CIVES specialized in nuclear power plants construction, both in structural steel and building the containment shield walls for reactors. Some support columns weighed in at 750 pounds a foot and were 100 feet long. The machines I mainly operated were very large radial arm drills, that took drill bits up to 6 inches in diameter. I also use torches, plus a lot of other steel working equipment and could weld. Operating big overhead cranes indoors, was also part of my job. I also did layout work and blue print reading. It was heavy, dirty, noisy and dangerous work.

Worked in reseach and development finding new and innovative uses for talc in many fields, including, rubber products, tires, plastics and other components. Moved up to Sales Rep for the company, before a reorganization forced me to leave.

Activities and Societies: Played in the high school band and played several sports.
