Senior Plater Fabricator- During this time I trained an apprentice for the role of welder/plater whilst he studied at college for a 3 year period. Here I acquired an abundance of experience in all aspects of engineering from: general site-work such as erecting mezzanine floors, cat ladders, handrailing and gates including repair work for site services nationally. The role was mainly work shop based, although it did include aspects of site working consisting of general fabrication including but not limited to: off-shore pipe work, gas piping and drilling equipment. I was one of a team of three on site during the transformation of London St. Pancras Station to ensure that the re-workings of the stairwells, walkways and gates were executed to the highest standards. I have also worked on what has been classed as the most contaminated site in Europe at The Avenue Coking plant in chesterfield, maintaining the plant machinery and fault fixing during the clean-up of the site; adhering to strict health and safety guidelines and decontamination procedures throughout. The majority of works undertaken were for Brian Donkins however I acquired a vast array of engineering practices during my time at PMS working on contracts from companies such as: HP consulting, Magpie Drilling, Beacon Medaes Ltd and Pigtek ltd.
