John Hallgren

Mission Direct Primary Care provides contracted physician services for select clients focused on research supervision and locum tenens work.

I was responsible for operations in the medical clinics of Ponca Health Services, including clinical care, management of clinical operations, and advising tribal council on all things medical for the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska. The majority of my time was in active clinical practice.

I was a staff family physician for a multi-state, 7-physician direct primary care group providing full-spectrum outpatient care including acute and chronic conditions, injuries, and office procedures.

I served 22 years as staff physician, academic faculty, and several leadership roles. My final position was squadron commander for a 250-person multi-specialty outpatient group practice and deputy commander for our 600+ staff member medical group. I was responsible for delivery of primary and specialty care for an enrolled population of over 25,000 beneficiaries, and integrating clinical operations with our civilian partners at Nebraska Medicine and the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Member of a team of 2 or 3 dishwasher/busboys per shift. Ensured reliably clean dishes, flatware, and kitchen utensils/equipment for restaurant operations. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms.
