I utilize my training, current evidence, and my experience to treat my patients with compassion, integrity and honesty. The surgical treatments I use are innovative, efficient, minimally invasive techniques that will reduce your operative time, result in less pain and a shorter recovery. In addition, I treat many anorectal conditions without surgery, in the office, often during your first visit. We are all busy and surgery can be disruptive but necessary. I am committed to getting patients back to their life after the proper treatment with compassion, honesty and the least amount of disruption. My surgical care starts long before the operating room. At your initial visit, you will not see me looking at the computer screen clicking the boxes as you talk. I take the time to listen to my patient’s medical issues and personal needs. I formulate a plan assessing the clinical data, using my comprehensive knowledge and experience, and discuss the options with my patients. My surgical care continues long after the operating room as well. For operations that require a hospital stay, I utilize an enhanced recovery after surgery pathway that often accelerates recovery and reduces complications. Once you leave the hospital, my office staff and I are always available to answer question during your recovery. Despite all the changes in medicine going on right now, I strive to maintain high quality, innovative yet compassionate care to my patients.
