My background is directed towards genetics of common and rare diseases. I have experience in all aspects of next generation sequencing technologies, as well as other high throughput methodologies. This includes protocol development, bench work, and troubleshooting for genomic, transcriptomic, and epigenomic research. I am proficient at handling and integrating large data sets, like those pertaining to population genetic data sets and NGS approaches in order to conduct bioinformatic and data mining analyses. My experience as project manager enables me to set goals, determine a plan, execute the process and evaluate the results.
