Providing protection expert support to technical services department of Mazoon Electricity Company for 33/11KV distribution substations. Involved in activities such as preparation of relay setting calculation, Review of Relay setting calculation submission by contractors, Relay settings approval for implementation, Overcurrent co- ordination, Relay ordering code selection for relay list standardization , protection policy standardization and specification preparation, Solar power plants design document review, providing technical support for issues, root cause analysis of power system faults, Tender specification etc.

Responsible for Testing Co-Ordination/Testing & Commissioning of 132/13.8KV SAS based substations involving Testing of Numerical/Micro processor based / Electro mechanical protection relays, Bus bar /Line /Transformer /Reactor Control & protection Scheme checks (DC circuit checks, primary injection, trip logic, secondary injection), Conducting Stability and Sensitivity test for High impedance Differential Protection, Testing components (CT, VT, CB), Synchronizing voltage selection scheme checks, Co-ordination with SAS system Commissioning team, As-Built Drawings Preparation.

* Specific Duties and Responsibilities/Scope of Work: * Leading team of commissioning engineers and technicians towards completion of commissioning activities in scheduled Time frame. * Prepare a detailed list of tools & tackles, testing equipments, measuring instruments, check list and test formats required for Testing. * Execution of Contracts to achieve customer satisfaction by providing specific engineered solutions and to complete the contract with in the budgeted cost. To achieve the contractual schedules with proper planning and managing the required resources. * SCMS co-ordination for Control and Protection signaling. * Testing of protection relays of distance, Directional & non directional over current, Earth fault and breaker failure protection relays. * Bus bar Protection Stability and Sensitivity test. * Transformer Differential Protection Stability and Sensitivity test. * Overall control and protection Scheme checks. * Testing local Breaker backup(LBB) schemes * Testing Voltage selection scheme, synchronizing check , Auto reclose etc.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities/Scope of Work: Marketing, Installation, Testing & commissioning of Automating mains failure panel for Diesel generators & Automatic power factor control panels & Provide Technical Support for the above Products

Designing and development of design documents for Control and Protection of Electrical Substation involving Relaying and Metering one line diagram/Protection &control Logic diagram, CT, PT sizing, Fault level calculations, Development of interface between Primary equipment and Control and protection Equipment, All types of Relay Protection settings and Protection Coordination study, review of Equipment technical data, Review of Control and Relay Panel Drawings, Protection Scheme design/Review for Line, Cable, Transformer, Bus bar, Motor, Capacitor, & Reactor.
