Senior Subject Matter Expert supporting DoD CIO for Tactical Data Link systems. The focus is on interoperability and commonality across the defense services, coaltion partners, and industry.

Led 5-person team in establishing requirements for common avionics systems across all Navy and Marine Corps aircraft. Systems included CNS/ATM, GPS, Safety Systems (GPWS, TAWS, CSRs, MCAC, et al), MIDS, and obsolescence management for communications equipment, displays, and navigation systems. Managed a $1.6 Billion budget in RDT&E and Acquisition/Procurement funds.

100% commission/100% customer generation in Residential Mortgage originations. Achieved Senior Loan Originator designation in minimum timeframe based on production. Smoothly transitioned into the private financial/business environment from a military career, averaging over $1.5M in originations monthly for a 5-yr period.

Led team of 12 engineers/analysts in the systems engineering review for every modification to every aircraft and airborne weapons system in the Navy and Marine Corps inventories, performing the systems engineering evaluation for design integrity and safety of flight. Reviews were coordinated throughout the entire NAVAIR Engineering 4.0 Competency. Many of the thousands of reviews annually were for time-critical Test & Evaluation flights or in support of Kosovo fleet operations. Concurrently served as acting Deputy Air Vehicle Department, AIR 4.3, assisting SES Department head in process re-engineering, business evaluation, and management functions for over 800 personnel across 6 locations nationwide.

A great first acquisition tour for a fleet guy, the program office covered Research and Development for more advanced target systems through sustainment for legacy programs and everything in between. The Full Scales included the QF-86s and QF-4Ns, several of which I had fleet time in and those old birds continued to serve until their dying days. The VANDAL program reworked old Talos missiles as a supersonic sea skimmer to support AEGIS testing, and I took this program through the entire milestone process.

Coordinated common avionics requirements with the platform requirements officers for all Navy and Marine Corps aircraft. Drafted JCIDS documents, prepared and briefed FLAG/SES-level leadership, and fought for scarce military funding to increase aircrew capabilities while improving safety and commonality
