Senate Intern
Office of US Senator Katie Britt
I was honored and privileged to intern for Alabama's US Senator Katie Britt. During my work for her, I: Supported daily office operations by managing service academy application files, processing documents, general busy work, and fielding constituent phone calls to aid in casework and policy discussions. Represented Senator Britt at congressional events— Veterans Affairs hearings, city industry tours, spending allocation meetings, etc.—often as the sole staff member present. Built connections with community leaders and policymakers while engaging in meaningful conversations about the issues shaping our nation’s future

Co-Founder
Alabama Students for Change
Alabama, United States
Launched a non-profit to combat educational inequity by improving access to public speaking, advocacy, and community service for underprivileged students. Collaborated with the Equal Justice Initiative, local superintendent, state policymakers, and a State Board of Education candidate. Raised thousands of dollars for underresourced schools and coordinated 20 student volunteers, benefiting students in Montgomery, AL, including those from low-income areas. Provided leadership opportunities to over 20 students across Alabama and access to public speaking extracurriculars to over 170 students in two years. Gained media exposure and formed strategic business partnerships to support fundraising. Advocated for our initiative to U.S. Congress, U.S. Department of Education, and the YMCA of the USA administration.

Pressure Washing Business Owner
Pressure Washing
United States
Founded pressure washing business, through which I clean residential and commercial properties (sidewalks, patios, parking lots, buildings, etc.). I market my services via social media and and subcontract peers to work large-scale jobs.

Federal Judicial Intern
United States District Court, Middle District of Alabama
United States
Internship for Judge Kelly Pate, Federal Magistrate. During my internship, I observed civil and criminal cases throughout the summer, making for an in-depth learning experience in federal court. I gained firsthand insight into judicial proceedings, legal reasoning, and courtroom dynamics. Observing attorneys, defendants, and judges in action deepened my understanding of due process and trial procedures. Additionally, I had the opportunity to discuss case law and judicial decision-making with Judge Pate and her clerks, further refining my analytical and legal research skills. Additionally, I managed the One-Drive/online case organization for the judge, filed documents, shredded closed cases, and ran errands. This experience solidified my interest in the legal field and strengthened my ability to think critically about justice and policy.

A.I. Software Developer
To aid underesourced students, I created a program utilizing Open AI’s codex that finds, cuts, and formats evidence cards for any argument, case, or topic debaters wish to explore. This software is used by debaters across Alabama. I am interested in expanding and monetizing my platform in college.
