As streaming advisor it's my job to guide clients as well as my colleagues on how to best broadcast live events. My contribution to the team primarily relates to project management, web projects and live streaming. During the years I have been responsible for the live streaming of more than a thousand events. Too often key decisions such as where to put a live player (e.g. company website, Facebook, Youtube or separate mini-site) are not based on proper research. Unfortunately this has tremendous potential to negatively impact the success of a live event. My job is to help clients make such decisions on the right basis. I am also part of a small group which meets and discusses how various aspects of our software interface can be improved to better reflect needs of those using our products. Every day I do my best contributing to a better workplace with a positive and helpful attitude. No matter how busy it is, I reserve the rights to always have time to listen to my colleagues and get to know them better. I find great pleasure in bringing home made coffee and bread to meetings and I really enjoy a cracking hi-five after a job well done.

I have been providing live streaming for leading Danish businesses since 2006 (Arkena A/S) and since as part of Qbrick's Live Content team. I have been working as consultant for Roskilde Festival, A.P. Møller - Mærsk, Carlsberg, Danske Bank, Danmarks Radio and Nordisk Film. I'm responsible for continuously improving our encoding setups, ensuring hard- and software reliability. I'm experienced in Digital Rapids hard- and software, Blackmagic devices, Wirecast, Adobe Media Live Encoder and Windows Media Encoder. With regards to streaming I do my utmost to stay on top of current live streaming protocols. I work with Wowza Streaming Engine and use Amazon Web Services daily basis. I'm always looking to improve our encoder setups and workflow to ensure the very best reliability. Lately I have been implementing redundancy on encoder and CDN level and at the moment I am exploring technologies such as DASH and NVENC transcoding. When doing web projects, I rely on jQuery, Less Framework, Bootstrap and Skeleton, which are frameworks that help me add functionality and cross-browser compatibility quickly and efficiently.

I have helped students on Digital Design to become acquainted with Photoshop, understanding especially selection techniques, layer masks mechanics and creative uses of customized filters. I have also covered various ways of doing quick mock-ups.

I have been streaming video for Arkena's customers since 2006 using various encoding technology. I have been involved in both onsite and offsite streaming jobs for clients such as Vestas and Venstre. I also assist with various web design jobs.

In my concluding project I suggested ways for usability to be applied to experience rich websites. Most studies concerning the use of websites has focused on information rich websites, setting up very specific goals in regards to how effective the website, seen as a tool, enables the user to be. Some websites though, are not intended to be thought of as tools. They are not serving mere information but rather experiences. This doesn't mean they can't be user friendly - it simply takes another approach to find out if they are.
