In the end of August 2010 I graduated my M.Sc. in Biogeology at the University of Utrecht. Before this, I graduated at the Life Sciences and Chemistry Department of the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht in biological and medical laboratory research. During this bachelor study I specialized myself in the field of Molecular Biology. After one year of pre-master at the bachelor of Earth sciences, I entered the M.Sc. of Biogeology and specialized myself in the field of biogeochemistry, paleontology, sedimentology and paleoceanography. Looking now for a PH.D. position in one of the research fields mentioned above, especially biogeology and biogeochemistry. Specialties: Biogeochemical proxies, community models, foraminifera, rodents, paleoceanography, paleontology, computers and laboratorial techniques

trainingship - correlation of a new keramidomys sp to the paleo-geography, climate and vegetation

During my extra assignment, paleontology orientated, I sorted the teeth of the extinct Keramidomys, a sort of flying squirrel and correlate it to the paleogeography, paleoclimate and paleovegetation of Middle to Late Miocene. In this report I describe a new species, named Keramidomys anadoluensis and will be published later this year.
