Started up the competitive technical analysis function at Fingerprint Cards and was driving technical analysis and reverse engineering projects of both the software and hardware aspects of competing products, primarily related to patent infringement investigations. Managed patentability assessments of invention disclosures and revised the external patent monitoring program.

Developed new technologies and device concepts for hearing implants, e.g. the transducer technology BCDrive™. Developed simulation models within structural mechanics, acoustics, and electromagnetics and constructed an automated design optimization framework, using COMSOL, ANSYS, MATLAB, Minitab, ModeFRONTIER etc. Managed a project team in the development of a new transducer architecture, with specific responsibility for efficiency, robustness and manufacturability optimizations. Experienced in using tools for design of experiments and failure mode and effects analysis. Developed software for a measurement system for sample performance characterization. Worked on development and IP protection of multiple novel product concepts. Inventor of 18 patents and responsible for internal and external IP reviews, as well as IP landscape analysis.

Developed a hardware control software for pacemaker antenna gain measurements and visualizations using C#.

A pacemaker lead develops heat when exposed to the radio-frequency fields of magnetic resonance imaging equipment. This master thesis project characterized the electrical properties of the pacemaker lead in order to build an electrical model to further the understanding of the heating mechanisms.

Student-run company that provide consulting services for companies. I was a consultant in the technology development business unit but also head of a group responsible for marketing and recruitment. Average 10 hours work per week.

Midorion develops an analytical biosensor system. At Midorion I was working on product development, digital signal processing and application development in LabVIEW.

At AuSIM I was working on a project that mainly involved the development of a set of software tools in MATLAB and C++. These tools were used to design digital audio filters that could virtually position sound sources in auditory displays with large numbers of loudspeakers in arbitrary positions.

I was responsible for the contents, layout and design of the annual Trainee Report publication and other printed material.

Co-founder of a small web design company with full responsibility for complete projects ranging from static websites to multiple e-commerce sites and other customized database solutions. Technologies used include HTML, ASP, PHP, SQL and CSS. Responsibilities also include requirements development, graphical design, database management as well as customer relations.
