As a Psychiatry Registrar in Australia, I was responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients across acute inpatient, community, and consultation-liaison settings. I worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans for a range of psychiatric conditions, participated in risk assessments, and supported families and carers. The role also involved supervised psychotherapy, regular case presentations, and participation in after-hours on-call rosters.

Locum Role (NHS) As an SHO in Psychiatry in the UK, I provided frontline assessment and management of patients with a range of mental health conditions in both inpatient and community settings. As a Trauma & Orthopaedics SHO in the UK, I managed acute orthopaedic admissions, assisted in theatre, and provided perioperative care for trauma and elective patients. My role involved clerking patients, interpreting imaging, performing joint reductions, and assisting with fracture clinics. I also participated in the on-call rota, managing orthopaedic emergencies and coordinating care with ED and surgical teams.

As a House Officer in Upper GI and General Surgery, I was involved in the perioperative care of patients undergoing elective and emergency procedures. My duties included pre- and post-operative management, assisting in theatre, managing ward rounds, and responding to acute surgical issues. I also participated in the surgical on-call roster, coordinating closely with anaesthetics, radiology, and emergency teams.

As a House Officer in Renal and General Medicine, I managed patients with complex, multi-system conditions including acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and dialysis-related complications. My role included daily ward rounds, fluid and electrolyte management, liaising with allied health teams, and coordinating investigations and discharge planning. I also contributed to the acute take and participated in the general medical on-call rota.
