Joel Sheakoski is the founder of Joel S Photo. Joel has traveled extensively to photograph and document political, societal and cultural events with a diversity of clients and for a diversity of causes. Having worked with organizations, newspapers, news agencies and digital media companies in New York, Rio de Janeiro, Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Johannesburg, Doha and Istanbul, his experience spans a variety of fields, from reporting on global conferences and bilateral political negotiations and agreements to documenting field activities, advertising and advocacy work. Joel is proud to put his audiovisual skills and story-telling knowledge to the service of public officials from across the globe and to support organizations that amplify the voices of communities such as those with disabilities, women and girls, children, indigenous people and migrant and refugees.
