I work at Ausgrid as an Electrical Power Engineer. Currently taking a role in the Lower Hunter Construction group as a Project Officer, I am involved with the management of projects from receipt of designs to commissioning. This role requires full understanding and implementation of the Project Management functions as well as the ability to work to deadlines with full accountability for project cost, quality and safety of stakeholders. In this role I get to work with a broad range of people within the organisation from Field staff to Design as well as communicating with external stakeholders including our customers on a regular basis.

The primary project involved carrying out an audit of Distribution Boards at Bulga Coal mine in the Hunter Valley against AS3000 including development of a Microsoft Access database interface for the suitable presentation of the audit results by asset.
