As site support team leader I was responsible for assuring every employee was equipped with the necessary safety equipment to carry out his or her daily tasks in a safe environment. Purchasing equipment, supplies and raw materials for production plants in Victoria and New South Wales as determined by the production schedules and also machinery spares from overseas suppliers.

Purchasing equipment, supplies and raw materials from local and overseas suppliers for the manufacturing and production centres producing food grade stainless steel parts. Negotiating new contracts and terms with all suppliers to ensure the best possible price, commercially favorable terms and conditions were obtained with considerable savings of more than $1.6 million.
