Elected by my Peers as a Fellow to The College of Labor & Employment Lawyers and a West Point graduate. 25+ yrs experience in global labor/ee relations, business conduct investigations,HR and employment/labor/benefits law. At CE, has global responsibility for providing advice on employee / labor relations ,employment, labor and benefits law including litigation and for conducting along with my Team, investigations and advising on business conduct policy matters that allege discrimination, harassment, retaliation or workplace bullying for an $11B world wide chemical company (50 sites including 30+ unionized sites). Also reporting to me is the LATAM General Counsel and his Team who handle all regional legal matters including Commercial, ESHA, Regulatory, Tax and other legal matters A member of the Celanese Business Conduct Compliance Committee. From '05 - '07 was also VP HR for the Celanese Cellulose Derivatives Business Unit ( $ 1B+ , 2,000 employees). Has been a member of the senior teams of a number of Fortune 500 corporations. Currently manage a team of 6 lawyers (2 in Europe and 4 in the Americas). Extensive experience in all aspects of global labor/employee relations strategy, collective bargaining, and HR (staffing, executive search, leadership development,training and compensation). From 2014-2015 also managed the Global General Litigation Department as well.Substantial experience providing advice and representing management in all aspects of global labor and employment law; including Title VII, SOX, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EU law. Manage all global employment and general litigation. Represent company before the EEOC, NLRB OFCCP, OSHA and other government agencies. Significant HR and legal experience in mergers and acquisitions, large restructurings, corporate campaigns and complex investigations. Has managed teams of over 100 employees. Specialties: Global labor/employee relations strategy, union avoidance strategy & collective bargaining. Substantial experience providing advice and representing management in complex investigations, global labor and employment law; including Title VII, SOX, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, FLSA,NLRA, EU law, and global Data Privacy issues.
