Developing new metrology based quality control systems. Right now in manufacturing we have a confusing mixture of uncertainty/accuracy/MPE, process capability and control limits. Future methods will consistently use uncertainty to enable optimal decisions based on statistical cost minimization. I'm working with the aerospace industry to make this a reality in today’s factories.
