I am currently working on the Finance team at Kinaxis as a Payroll Specialist. I am working with our Payroll Manager on the overseas entities. I am excited for this challenge and building my skillset and helping the team in this role! Since 2023, I have been a member of the Kinaxis Culture Ambassador group to help promote/improve the culture at Kinaxis! I was previously working at Kinaxis as our Campus Talent Acquisition Associate. I got the opportunity to place some of the best and brightest Co-Op or Intern students into great roles at the company! I worked with an award-winning team (Canada's Top 100 Employers for Young People 2022, 2023, & 2024) to expand Kinaxis' position as a market leader in the supply chain field! I began my Human Resources career at Giant Tiger Wholesale Limited as a maternity leave replacement for our HR Associate. During my 1-year contract, I was hired as a full time associate, I was then promoted to the Human Resources Generalist position, and moved on to the Human Resources Manager where I was in charge of Payroll, Events, & Recruitment for 400+ associates at 3 warehouses in the Ottawa/Brockville area. A fantastic position where I was challenged daily with various projects in a fast-paced environment. I had the opportunity to work at Canopy Growth for 18 months as a Recruiter. CGC was a growing (no pun intended) company with a large HR Team! Over and above my recruitment duties, I was able to take the lead on our Co-Op program and temporary placement program. Here's to future growth!
