* Assist in recording monies and pledges received on behalf of the University and the FIU Foundation in an accurate and timely manner * Determine proper accounts, type of gift and appropriate receipt/acknowledgement for each gift * Assist in producing, posting, reviewing and reconciling daily, monthly and yearly financial statements and annual reports for the Development Office * Serve as liaison for Colleges/Schools * Create queries to extract information from Raiser's Edge database * Create and distribute reports and lists from database * Perform all administrative duties for the department which may include ordering supplies, budget tracking, pro-card transactions, travel, PantherSoft Requisitions and attending and recording meetings

* Act as contact/liaison for key donors, prospects, VIPs to ensure prospect strategies are * advanced, provide expedient assistance to requests and that appropriate follow-up with * constituents is successfully completed. * Manage cultivation and solicitation appointments for fundraisers and administrators. * Tracks major gift prospects through the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship cycle by * reviewing timely and appropriate moves on donor/prospects * Create and implement customized stewardship plans for major donors. * Plans and executes receptions, dinners, community activities and small events to support * stewardship and cultivation for major gift donors. * Prepares written proposals and gift agreements for solicitations by collecting and * organizing materials in compliance with University policies and procedures. * Develop appropriate fund raising budgets. Manage and reconcile expense accounts.
