Direct report to European Purchasing Manager. Plans and executes European strategy for freight for 13 Dura sites. Lauch several tenders for road freight for top spend plants, namely Carregado in Portugal, Timisoara in Romania, Einbeck in Germany, Blatna in Czech Republic. Annual savings for 2020 and 2021 from 3 to 20% depending of the site. Lauch a global tender for sea freight for all European sites. Freight Supplier selection for 2 new sites in North Macedonia. Plan and execution of special projects transports, road, sea, air and rail freights. Cooperates with Logistics NA Regional Commodity Manager in the search for freight solutions between Europe, US and Mexico.

Direct report to European Purchasing manager, and responsible for value stream optimization of the production transfer from production plant in Plettenberg, Germany to Carregado, Portugal. 16 prodution projects were transfered Organizes the logistics conditions from suppliers to Carregado and from Carregado to service suppliers, in close relation with plant logistics. Organize on site PFEP workshops with logistics managers of European plants, in order to optimize packaging and reduce cost. Works with ERP SAP. Set specifications for packaging, transports and warehouse in order to optimize operational performance and reduce cost

Responsible for the production and materials planning of all references of 3 production facilities ( composites, final assembly, machined parts and stamping) . Production planning is made using Oracle ERP, with focus on labour and equipment optimization. Manage with 2 area managers 2 teams of 15 people each. Works with Aerostructures Vice president in making business budget and in daily action to meet the budget. Daily management and order of raw materials and components for long term planning using ERP and MRP Management of a continuous improvement team of 4 people that develop and implement new methods and process in order to get better efficiency. Production planning team works in close relation with Engeneering, Production and Commercial team to make production plans. Material planning team works in close relation with Production planning, purchasing, and engennering teams.

Cumulative function with Faurecia as PC&L Manager Same function as Faurecia. Managing a team of 27 people until December 2012. From January 2013 until March 2015 is responsible for 5 people to manage external supply chain and JIT delivery to customer VW.

Responsible for the production of injected plastic parts Responsible for 12 injection moulding machines from 420 ton to 2400 ton, 12 robots and approximately 90 moulds Management of a team of 80 people including mould maintenance, machine maintenance, quality auditors, engineering and process technicians, 3 shifts supervisors team liders and operators Responsible for drying equipment, regrinding equipment, nitrogen production unit , etc With the Kanban system for all production references there is a management focused on small batch, fifo and scrap reduction Leading continuous improvement activities such as SMED workshops, 5S, TPM, problem solving activities, resulting in machine up-time increase , scrap reduction, etc Responsible for new equipment purchasing specificications and start-up Direct report to the plant manager

Responsible for injection production and foaming and assembly of Instrument panels. Management of a team of 120 people including mould and other equipment maintenance, quality auditors, process engineering and technicians, 3 shifts supervisors and operators In foaming area is responsible for foaming machines and moulds, milling US weakening knife and ABB robots, etc Responsible for implementation of lean manufacturing concepts such as productivity improvement in assembly area, mould change, Quality improvement and scrap reduction

Management of a team of 6 technicians in 3 shifts in order to assure make preventive and corrective maintenance in production equipment Management of spare parts stock for all equipment Equipment is 13 injection moulding machines and 13 robots, drying and feeding equipment, regrinding equipment, nitrogen production unit, robot "hands", water thermolators.
