- Wrote and presented lectures for Precalculus and Calculus 1 sections consisting of 12-18 students and incorporated inquiry-based learning techniques. - Created and graded section quizzes. - Assisted with uniform grading of course-wide exams for hundreds of students. - Organized and held weekly office hours, including one hour at the Math Lab to help students in introductory level math courses. - Facilitated group work sessions in person, online, and in hybrid format.

- Under the supervision of Dr. François Monard, studied the forward and inverse scattering problems for Schrödinger's equation on discrete position space. - Fixed an error in a calculation in one of our reference papers. - Wrote a code in MATLAB that solves this problem for compactly supported potentials. - Presented this work to other scientific researchers at professional conferences and symposiums. This work was supported by STEM Diversity Programs at UC Santa Cruz through University Of California Leadership Excellence through Advanced Degrees (UC LEADS) Program and resulted in a joint thesis in mathematics and physics for my bachelor's degrees.

- Facilitated large (<15 students) and small (<6 students) group work sessions for introductory mathematics and physics courses with the goal of helping students meet degree requirements to declare their majors, thus retaining more students in the STEM fields. - Helped students build community within their disciplines by connecting them with people they could study with, sharing learning resources, and suggesting potential research advisors based on their interests. - Participated in professional development workshops around implicit bias and related topics to ensure that I created a welcoming, collaborative, and interactive learning environment in which students were encouraged to make mistakes as a necessary part of their learning process. - Earned highly positive evaluations indicating that I helped students build their confidence in approaching problems and discussing them with others, strengthened their relationship with the subject, and helped them improve their grades.
