Other responsibilities include implementing procedures to tighten controls and recommendations to reduce costs, employing, managing and mentoring bookkeeper staff, mapping retailer workflow processes, preparing, administering and lodging all individual and self-managed super fund tax returns, and more.

Etaxpert$ takes a holistic view of wealth creation for its clients from business accounting, tax and technology solutions to retirement planning. As the Owner Operator, I am responsible for SME accounting, tax, bookkeeping and technology solutions, self-managed Super Funds (SMSF) setup and processing, GST, BAS, FBT, CGT Preparation and Submission. I am also responsible for offering remote and on-site services offered, business structuring, and tax planning.

Morgans Financial Limited provides diversified financial consulting services. The company offers stockbroking, financial planning, wealth portfolios, tax and retirement planning, investment funds and vehicles, and individualised planning for individual, corporate, and institutional clients. As a Tax Accountant, I was responsible for completing accounting services for SMSF, trusts, and individual tax returns for wealth managed clients, delivering tax advice to Financial Advisers to ensure tax effective investing and revenue streams for clients, preparing tax statements, financial statements and BAS statements as required, and creating and returning statements and documents to clients by set deadlines. Other responsibilities included liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and other regulatory bodies when required, preparing business income tax returns and statements for audits, assisting with client financial planning, and regularly reviewing systems and made updates and improvements where necessary.

As a Commercial Manager / Financial Controller, I was responsible for managing the integration process on the acquisition of the largest competitor in the market, resulting in the successful consolidation of the brand and business portfolio, and developing and rolling out KPI's to support Branch Managers grow their business. Furthermore, I was a Member of Management Lead Team, and supported the General Manager with the implementation of a commercial business plan (reviewed and made recommendations on product pricing and sales commission structure, and the consolidation of branches).

Installed accounting package. Improved spreadsheet accounting systems for various clients using excel modelling skills

This job fullfilled a life long dream to work at Disney World. Being accepted into their Disney College Program, an opportunity to interact with individuals from around the world, reside in company-sponsored housing, participate in their unique Disney college-level educational program and engage in paid internships at Disney's Orlando theme parks and resorts, was the icing on the cake. On my final performance review for the Disney College Program I scored an Outstanding and a Yes from my manager that he would be willing to rehire me. It's on my bucket list to return to work at Disney some day so watch this space.
