* Created the organization, an NGO providing support and awareness on epilepsy issues, from conception to full operation. Wrote business plan, fundraised and set up offices. * Obtained through networking and proposal writing necessary funding, processed all necessary legalities for the organization, recruited staff members, and participated in the selection of Board of Directors. * Managed and designed the organization’s overall strategy. Oversaw all operations, supervised and conducted implementation. * Created and implemented a fundraising plan. * Managed a team of 4 people with different cultural backgrounds and positions. * Managed financial and physical resources, prepared yearly and quarterly budgets, reported to various funding bodies. * Achieved high level of exposure among the NGO community as well as the public and commercial sectors.

Coordinated regional project “Civic dialogue for good governance in Latin America and the Caribbean”. Participated in the creation of the project document, coordinated all approval processes and resource mobilization activities, including grant writing. -Assisted in the set up and development of the regional strategy at the Regional Director department. -Acted as diplomatic link and facilitator of communication between 11 UNDP offices in South America Region and Headquarters.

Develop, manage, maximize and monitor existing global alliances and signature UNICEF programs with the corporate sector. Manage, co-ordinate and supervise the account management team. Establish clear strategies and work plans for a team of 6 members, ensuring the allocation of staff time and expertise is in line with priorities to achieve the desired results for the organization. Ensure that the team provides technical support and guidance to members of the UNICEF family in developing, negotiating and implementing alliances with the corporate sector. Contribute to and coordinate elements necessary for the development and implementation of UNICEF strategy, policy & guidelines for working with the business community Conduct training sessions and deliver presentations on the development of alliances with the corporate sector. Manage key corporate partnerships making strategic choices and decisions about how to engage with and service key donors to UNICEF. Make recommendations to corporate partners about UNICEF projects to support, elements of communication strategies.
