Responsible for providing strategic direction to the University and for developing and delivering an ambitious environmental sustainability policy and strategy. Head of the Sustainability Team at the University of Cambridge.

Responsible for the development and implementation of projects to minimise the environmental impact of the University of Cambridge.

Responsible for developing and implementing HEFCE's sustainable development strategy and action plan, working on projects to promote good practice and advising government, higher education organisations and other stakeholders on sustainable development issues. I also led HEFCE’s work to improve its own Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Responsible for assisting in the continuing development and implementation of the University energy and environmental strategy this position involved communicating with a variety of people throughout the University and local community and producing reports in order to introduce new practices and procedures.

Led in establishing the association as a charitable company limited by guarantee and contributed to the development of a five-year business plan.

Worked in an active research environment and developed a working experience of field and desk based research. Team work and individual motivation was essential to ensure that tasks were completed successfully.

Gained field and desk based research experience and completed undergraduate dissertation. Assisted other research assistants and graduates in their projects giving me a sound insight into the work of the Channel and Watershed Processes Research Unit.
