* Researched and presented the findings on a specific conflict-related topic and the according peace negotiations * Researched, interviewed and wrote on the possibilities and opportunities of post-conflict justice as well as the mining industry in Colombia * Attended conferences, meetings and fora on behalf of Arco Iris and writing reports thereon

* Audited the local branches of international firms and conglomerates in order to assist in drafting their year-end publicly available financial statements. * Assessed workflows and procedures within the finance, controlling and inventory departments. * Tested the design and implementation as well as the operating effectiveness of control mechanisms by taking samples and by virtue of inquiry. * Interacted with the heads of department via phone and email, and conducting face-to-face interviews.

* Translated legal documents from English to German and vice versa. * Put together annexes for submissions to courts and tribunals. * Drafted letters and e-mails to clients, opponents and courts/tribunals. * Researched international treaties and national acts to assist the partners and associates in drafting legal opinions. * Assisted the accountant in drawing up balance sheets, achieving month-end financial closing of cases and billing.

* Assisted with the creation and refinement of an innovative personnel database. * Communicated concerns and solutions to the IT firm and my colleagues. * Organised communication initiatives aimed at the exchange of information between high-level UN, EU, and OSCE field staff and German ministerial staff. * Arranged meetings at German ministries and facilitated the smooth running of the agenda of the former Chief of EUPOL Afghanistan whilst on visit in Germany.

* Facilitated the organisational preparation of two courses for international field mission staff on field security (in cooperation with the German army) and on mission administration & field support. * Directed, oversaw and facilitated the smooth running of a course on mentoring & advising (in cooperation with the US Institute of Peace).

* Collected, prepared and presented data to be used for the new project database. * Formulated weekly and bi-weekly directors' meeting minutes.

Activities and Societies: * President of the Graduate Institute Toastmasters Club * Co-organizer of a Student Debate on Nuclear Disarmament * Coach of the Institute's Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court Team * Editor at the Center for Trade and Economic Integration (CTEI) of the Graduate Institute from 01. to 03.2012, edited a book on informal international law composed of 23 chapters written by professors from universities across Europe.
