- Drive translational development strategy for microneedle-based delivery of GLP-1 therapeutics, overseeing PK/PD, efficacy, toxicology, and immunogenicity assessments across preclinical and clinical programs - Direct IND-enabling activities, including study design, data integration, and cross-functional contributions to regulatory submissions - Own and manage external CRO partnerships, driving study execution, timelines, and data quality for PK, GLP-toxicology, and bioanalytical programs - Serve as internal subject matter expert across pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity risk assessment, and translational strategy, supporting decision-making from early development through first-in-human studies - Led development of clinical sample strategy and bioanalytical plans for Phase I studies, including sample handling, logistics, and downstream data reporting - Continue to provide leadership in immunology and vaccine-related programs, including assay strategy and immune profiling across diverse platforms (mRNA, VLPs, inactivated vaccines) - Built and led a high-performing team responsible for assay development, qualification, and execution in both research and GLP environments - Contributed significantly to multiple IND submissions, including data generation, figure preparation, and regulatory documentation - Ensure compliance with GLP and internal quality systems, including SOP authorship, assay validation, and equipment qualification - Champion a strong team culture through mentorship, training, and cross-functional collaboration

I led a team of research associates in the design, execution, and interpretation of pre-clinical experiments to advance and mature a collection of pipeline programs based on novel MAPS vaccines. In particular, my team contributed significantly to our C. difficile, Oncology, and viral pipeline programs in pursuit of pre-clinical proof of concept and to support IND-enabling studies. My team's expertise included immunoassays (ELISA, MSD, flow cytometry, ELISpot, etc), bacterial and mammalian cell culture, and in vivo study design / execution. We worked closely with our platform teams to achieve company goals and thrive in the congenial, collaborative environment.

My research focused on developing modern molecular tools in the genetically recalcitrant C. trachomatis as a strategy to better probe the host's T-cell response to chronic infections.

The HGVCG was founded in 2008 and has provided pro bono consulting services to over a dozen clients, from small startups to publicly traded multimillion-dollar companies.

As a member of Dr. Daniel Portnoy's lab, I managed three successful projects investigating how the foodborne pathogen Listeria monocytogenes senses and responds to its human host during infection. This work led to four peer-reviewed publications (one in preparation), and one patent. During this time, I also mentored two graduate students, two undergraduates, and one high school student in experimental design, project management, and career development. I was also an active participant and leader in three graduate groups, two career development clubs, an undergraduate mentoring program, and multiple extracurricular organizations.

Accepted into a highly competitive, 12-week internship program performing hypothesis-driven research within the Department of Infectious Diseases (gRED). In addition to research, utilized this opportunity to explore future career opportunities in early-stage research, business development, and portfolio management. All findings were presented to departmental leadership at the conclusion of the internship.

Performed an undergraduate research thesis while overseeing all lab support functions and the training of two additional support personnel.

Led a project exploring the potential efficacy of fungal secondary metabolites as cancer therapeutics.
