The Preston Times is a weekly newspaper where I was responsible for designing ads for local businesses. I also created the newspaper layout for all the news articles. I handled subscriber inquiries on submitting news, creating ads and starting a subscriptions. The Preston Times also does custom print jobs for local businesses that I designed.

* Order loss run claim reports for each of our clients 90 days from renewal to go to the account administrator working on getting them a quote. * Send email and faxes for urgent miscellaneous requests that come from account administrators, sales professionals and directly from the client. * Obtain prior carrier letters from our clients whose insurance history is with a different agent. * Answer calls for our hotline providing our insured’s and holders with a positive customer service experience. * Send certificates of insurance to insured’s and holders who request them.

I entered data in to program for cost studies to create pricing for products. I coordinated with team members on data entry projects to build e-books, complete return forms and order reprints. I created weekly metric spreadsheet reports on consultants and send to regional manager for review. I loaded electronic books to universal FTP (File Transfer Protocol) site for Learning Consultants to access.

I worked as a marketing intern at Clarke University (College) while in college. I was in charge of organizing all campus photo shoots. I helped create advertisements for campus events and filed all advertising for the campus that appeared in local newspapers.

I am a summer intern with Bemis Curwood's marketing department and have been for the past two summers.

I was a Resident Assistant at Clarke College for two years. This position involved working at resolving conflict, communication, organization and dependability. I was responsible for a wing of girls to organize programs promoting self, diversity, alcohol alternatives and unity. I was also a campus recourse directing residents to the right people in a given situation.
