About
There's a predictable path most B2B companies take before they figure out what the marketing problem actually is. I've watched it play out for 25 years. It usually starts with a young internal hire, or someone relegated into the role of "marketing" who does what they're told but doesn't have the experience to build what comes next. The next move is bringing in a fractional CMO who knows what should happen but can't execute it because the last place they worked had a team of 20 and a budget to match, which are two things you don't have. That then leads to hiring a tactical agency that is immediately put on a short leash to prove quick value, one that says yes to everything, outsources what they can't do, and hopes a subcontractor solves a problem they couldn't. It never does. And, eventually, you land with a larger agency, flashy pitch teams, solid onboarding, and an eventual slow drift back towards activity that's hard to connect to anything that actually matters to the business. If that sounds familiar, I understand the skepticism.I work with CEOs, CROs, and CMOs at B2B companies between $20M and $300M, mostly in industries that don't often receive much marketing attention: - Manufacturing- Logistics- Healthcare technology- Construction- Data centers- Transportation- B2B professional servicesPlaces where relationships drive revenue, where the key players are already known, and where marketing has historically been viewed as a cost center and the last thing anyone fixed.Surprisingly, the problems I get called in to solve are rarely about tactics. They're usually about a marketing function that's disconnected from how the business actually works, from sales, from operations, from leadership's definition of success. That gap is expensive, and it tends to get wider before anyone names it out loud. What I do is help companies build the connective tissue. That means tracing where revenue is leaking inside the marketing system, building frameworks that align teams around shared outcomes, and connecting marketing performance directly to the P&L in a way leadership can actually use.I've been in the digital marketing world for 25 years and have taught marketing strategy at Southern Methodist University since 2015. That combination shapes how I work: enough pattern recognition to know what's actually wrong, and enough discipline to build something that holds. If you're at the point where you're questioning whether the marketing problem is actually a marketing problem, that's usually a good place for us to start a conversation.

Chief Executive Officer
Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex
Rogue is built for offense-minded CEOs, CROs, CMOs, and VPs of Sales in mid-market companies who have a business outcome to achieve and need a practical approach to get there. Typically, Rogue is brought into an organization when: - Execution is fragmented across multiple agencies, freelancers, and small internal teams. - The strategy–execution gap widens, with plenty of campaigns and content but no coherent positioning, ICP definition, or measurement framework tied to board-level metrics such as growth, margin, or CAC payback. - Growth plateaus despite sustained sales effort, or recent growth has outpaced the existing marketing structure and processes. - Opportunities emerge across new markets, geographies, or product launches that require a senior-level go-to-market strategy and leadership. Ninety percent of our clients are B2B, privately held, or VC-backed companies $10-250M). The other 10% are Fortune 500 and DTC clients. Rogue Capabilities: - Business alignment/frameworks - Community engagement - Marketing automation/integration - Sales enablement tools - Conversion optimization - Paid media management - Marketing operations + alignment If you're asking questions like: - I need a partner who can help identify which parts of our marketing efforts are actually moving us forward. - I know the outcome I want to achieve, but I'm worried about choosing the right path to get there. - I'm concerned about wasting money and effort on marketing initiatives that might not provide an ROI. Simply said... Rogue is here for companies that need a partner, not just a tool or tactic provider. For those frustrated with their current marketing efforts and confident they can achieve more, let's have a conversation. If you've made it this far, welcome to the Rogue Nation.
