Jester Levi Galapon

Jester Levi R. Galapon, CPA, is a performance and compliance auditor with over 5 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, regulatory compliance, digital governance, and management consulting—spanning both the public and private sectors. Levi is currently working with Open Ownership as Project Coordinator for Asia Pacific, reporting directly to the Senior Regional Manager for Asia Pacific, where he supports the project implementation, coordination, and performance tracking of regional projects across several countries in APAC. Prior to this, Levi served as an Internal Auditor III at the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), where he led performance and compliance audits covering internal support services and flagship government programs. His audit work assessed critical areas of People, Policy, Process, and Technology (PPPT) to ensure effective program execution and alignment with national digital transformation goals. Levi began his professional career with KPMG Philippines (R.G. Manabat & Co.) under the Department of Professional Practice – Risk Management Group, handling compliance reviews and risk assessments on client principals, key officers, and beneficial owners to support KPMG’s global regulatory framework. He later transitioned to KPMG’s Management Consulting practice, where he worked with industry leaders on digital finance transformation, process optimization, and organization-wide reforms anchored on best practices and data-driven process reviews. In parallel, Levi has been a freelance eCommerce Consultant and Manager for over four years, managing digital storefronts, analytics, and growth strategies for clients across Southeast Asia—particularly on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and Zalora. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy in 2018 and passed the CPA Licensure Examination in 2019. Levi is a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and is currently pursuing professional development in IT Audit and AI Systems Auditing, including training on machine learning, AI ethics, algorithmic bias, and frameworks such as ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST AI RMF.
