José Luis Bermejo

With over five years of experience as an Ingeniero Geógrafo at the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (MTMA) and the National Geographic Institute of Spain (IGN), I have developed and led multiple projects related to cartography, geospatial data, and remote sensing. I have used GIS tools to create, analyze, and manage geospatial information systems, and to support decision-making and planning processes. I have also applied my expertise in remote sensing to design and implement solutions for monitoring and mapping natural and human phenomena, such as land cover, vegetation, disasters, and urban growth. As the Jefe de Servicio de Teledetección at IGN, I coordinated and supervised a team of professionals and technicians, and ensured the quality and accuracy of the remote sensing products and services. I am passionate about geospatial science and technology, and I enjoy collaborating with other experts and stakeholders in the field. I am always eager to learn new skills and methods, and to contribute to the advancement and innovation of geospatial knowledge and applications.
